The 31st Annual Meeting of the Waterbird Society is organized, on behalf of the Waterbird Society, by the Dept. of Animal Biology of the University of Barcelona, in collaboration with The Spanish Society of Ornithology (SEO/BirdLife), the Catalan Institute of Ornithology (ICO) and the Dept. of the Environment of Generalitat de Catalunya, all them acting as local hosts.

The Meeting will be held at the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 585, 08007-Barcelona, Spain ), from 30 October to 3 November 2007.

We want to offer an appealing scientific program, including plenary lectures, symposia, workshops and free oral and poster communications. A number of social activities, including excursions during the conference, as well as pre-and post-conference tours are also intended.
